Introduce your puppy to their collar and leash by leading them around their new home. Let them sniff and investigate indoors to familiarize them with the new surroundings they will be spending the most time in. Keeping them close to you during this process lets them know that you will be sharing their space with them and you are part of their pack.
Start Puppy Training

You can encourage them to hang out with you by having a few pieces of their favorite treats in your hand to coax them to you and rewarding them with the treats once they settle beside you.
