Ruby & Lake City Whisky’s puppies are now 6 months old and have grown into confident, well-rounded young dogs. They have completed all of their puppy vaccinations and are continuing to mature beautifully both physically and mentally.
Matilda is the last available puppy from this litter. She is smart, food-motivated, and eager to learn. Matilda picks up new routines quickly, loves to play, and is incredibly social. We’ve been taking frequent trips into town for continued socialization and training, where she’s learning good manners while walking on leash and gaining confidence in new environments, people, and situations — and she is, of course, oohed and awed over by everyone who sees her. Matilda has a special way of making everyone she meets feel instantly loved, greeting people quickly and eagerly with joyful enthusiasm.
Matilda is enthusiastic about mealtimes and treats and remains highly motivated by food, which makes training a joy. She is already comfortable with structured routines and continues to build on her foundation of basic commands.
She is social through and through, and her favorite place is a warm lap where she can soak up attention. Matilda is athletic and playful, enjoying games of chase and tug-of-war, but she also knows how to settle and relax. After playtime or outings, she’s happy to curl up on a couch or chair and unwind, showing a wonderful balance of energy and calm for her age.

Meet Matilda (Teal Ribbon). My oh my, Matilda is one outgoing, smart, energetic, and athletic girl! She has a rich red coat that might be curly, but is still soft and silky to the touch, perfectly matching her spunky yet sweet personality. Matilda’s favorite place is front and center in your lap, soaking up attention. Ever since she was little, she has adored sitting in our laps, looking into our eyes, and surprisingly being content to leave it at that—feeling no need to slobber us with kisses, a rare and appreciated trait in any dog. She seems to have no fear and approaches everything with a calm confidence. Her absolute favorite game with the other puppies is leading a “catch me if you can” chase from one end of the house to the other, ducking under chairs and tables, and jumping over couches. Matilda loves to play and is a wonderfully engaging girl, always content to be wherever the activity is. Matilda is expected to weigh about 35 pounds as an adult and would happily join any family. She is beautifully athletic and a huge lover, creating a connection with anybody she meets and making them feel loved and special.
Purple Ribbon Girl

Meet Molly (Purple Ribbon). Little Miss Molly has a carefree, loving nature and is truly an all-around wonderful girl. She is the smallest in her litter and is expected to weigh 25–30 pounds as an adult. Molly has a soft, beautiful dark apricot coat and the sweetest little face. As you can see in her photos, she is a happy and engaging social girl. She has been a joy to take on walks and social outings; she knows no strangers and eagerly greets passersby along the way. Molly has also been a fantastic playmate for our Shayla litter and is best mates with little Pumpkin—you’ll often find them sharing a dog bed while playfully tugging over a toy or chasing each other through the house. Molly enjoys her naps and bedtime and sleeps soundly through the night. If her siblings weren’t so food-motivated and ready for breakfast at 6 a.m., she would likely sleep in until 8 or later. Miss Molly is a gentle, well-rounded girl who would thrive in any type of household where she has human and/or doggy friends to play with and cuddle up beside.
Pink Ribbon Girl

Meet Sadie (Pink Ribbon). Miss Sadie is an incredibly sweet girl who is very eager to please, whether the reward is treats, praise, or affection. Since learning how to shake, it has become her go-to move for getting our attention. She takes after her mom and is the most social of her litter—if we are sitting at the table during a meal, she is sure to pop up for a good head scratch and to say hello—did you miss me? Sadie loves going on outings where she can be adored by any and all who pass by. She loves to play and is always engaging, no matter what activity is happening. Just like the rest of her litter and all of our puppies, she is happiest when cuddled up next to people. Sadie has surprised me by being, hands down, the easiest puppy—or even dog—to groom. Considering it was her very first grooming experience, that made it even more impressive! Sadie is expected to weigh about 35–40 pounds as an adult and is ready to be adored by her future family. She would be equally happy being the center of attention or joining in on the fun with kids and other dogs.
Red Ribbon Boy

Meet Jake (Red Ribbon). Even among all the wonderful puppies Blue Star has had over the years, Jake truly stands out as one of the most exceptional puppies I’ve ever met. He is expected to weigh around 35 pounds as an adult and has an amazingly calm, laid-back personality while still being social and outgoing. Jake is content in just about any situation, taking everything in stride. Jake's favorite activity is, by far, finding a cozy dog bed, lap, or chair where he can relax and observe the other puppies at play. It goes without saying—he is a wonderful sleeper and would happily sleep the morning away if allowed. While he does enjoy a good game of tug-of-war or chasing a ball from time to time, it doesn’t take long before he’s heading back to a comfy spot to lounge. Jake has also been incredibly sweet with our little Shayla puppies, often rolling over and allowing them to tackle him without putting up a fight. Jake has been incredibly easygoing on all of our outings. He is perfectly content hanging out in the car during our grocery shopping or eagerly joining us for a walk around the pet store, where he loves greeting customers and soaking up affection. His pictures are enough to seal the deal, but Jake is so much more than just a handsome boy. He truly is the total package, with his beautiful temperament, golden, silky coat, and striking black nose.
Yellow Ribbon Girl

Meet Charlotte (Yellow Ribbon). Charlotte has the richest red coat in her litter and is expected to weigh around 35 lbs as an adult. She is the mellowest of the litter and prefers quiet activities like lounging on the couch. Her dark amber eyes stand out not only for their color but for the expression they carry. Charlotte loves attention and is happiest sitting in your lap or rolling over for belly rubs. Easygoing and affectionate, she would be a wonderful choice for a therapy dog or a devoted companion.
