Adopting A Puppy From Blue Star

Selecting the perfect dog to join your family is not easy. First, you must decide on the right breed for your family. Then, you need to research and locate a great and trusted breeder. Finally, you need to find a puppy who is not only exceptional in health, but who also has a temperament and personality that will fit with your lifestyle and preferences.

If you’re looking for a dog who has a loving, gentle nature, is friendly, intelligent, and easy to train with a joyful therapy dog temperament, has a hypoallergenic, beautiful soft wavy fleece coat, and strong structure, then an Australian Labradoodle puppy will check all of your boxes. This incredible breed is ready and willing to fulfill any role you have for them. Whether that’s a therapy dog, exercise partner, playmate, or just a loving, loyal companion, the Australian Labradoodle is up for the job.

When you have a specific dog breed in mind for your next furry family member, it’s important to find a responsible breeder. A breeder who follows the highest breed standards will be able to give you a puppy who is healthy, happy, good-tempered, and who will be with you for as long as possible.

If you’re interested in an Australian Labradoodle puppy, then Blue Star Labradoodles is the breeder to turn to. Our breeding program is of the highest caliber to ensure our pups grow to be incredible dogs for families of all kinds. You can feel confident that the health and wellbeing of our dogs is our number one priority and, as a result, that you’re getting the best-quality Australian Labradoodle available.

Puppies from Blue Star Labradoodles are strong, healthy, joyful, and loyal companions. We are meticulous when choosing Sires and Dams to produce our litters. They go through extensive health testing, including OFA hip, elbow, and eye testing, as well as genetic and blood testing to confirm they are free of disease and are at optimal physical functioning.

When our Australian Labradoodle puppies are born, we make the most of their exceptional pedigrees by helping them develop their amazing qualities right away. In their first seven weeks of life, they are handled frequently, exposed to new stimuli, experience different environments, people, and animals, and begin basic puppy training.

Beyond early training and stimulation, we assess and guarantee the health of our puppies in their first few weeks too. Every puppy receives a vet checkup, initial vaccinations, and a microchip. They are also evaluated for temperament and physical structure. This assessment helps us place puppies with their best-fit families based on personality and determine which puppies have exceptional structures and should be used for future breeding.

After you fill out our puppy reservation form, we have confirmed an expected litter, and you submit your deposit, we will give you regular updates about the puppies in your litter. At six weeks old, we invite you to visit and choose your top puppies. Finally, at eight weeks, after your contract has been signed, you will come to select and pick up your puppy. We can also arrange for puppy delivery and shipping anywhere in the U.S. or Canada.

At Blue Star Labradoodles, we are committed not only to producing Australian Labradoodle puppies with distinguished pedigrees, health calibers, temperaments, and personalities, but also to pairing each family with the best puppy for their needs, preferences, and lifestyle. We breed our puppies for gentle temperaments, outstanding health, and trainability—all of the qualities that make them ideal lifelong members of your family!

Stimulation, attention, training, new experiences, and LOVE are all crucial ingredients to a puppy’s upbringing, personality, and wellbeing. That’s why we provide our Australian Labradoodle pups with all of these in their first nine weeks, starting the moment they’re born until the moment they go to their forever homes.

At Blue Star Labradoodles, we provide happy, healthy Australian Labradoodles for sale for families, individuals, and even breeders, throughout the U.S. and Canada. Get in touch with us today to reserve a puppy from one of our upcoming litters—and get ready to have your life filled with so much more love, laughter, and joy!

The first step to purchasing a puppy from Blue Star Labradoodles is to complete our Puppy Reservation Form. At the bottom of the form, identify your litter preference and any other specific preferences not already listed.

With Blue Star Labradoodles no reservation deposit is due until an ultrasound is completed on the litter of your preference, confirming your puppies are expected. This is when your $500 deposit is due. Your reservation deposit is also fully refundable at any time, for any reason, if you change your mind or we’re unable to guarantee a puppy from the litter you want. From there, the process is as follows:

4-Week Puppy Update: When the puppies from the litter you’re interested in turn 4 weeks old, we send out a Puppy Update about their progress, your Contract of Sale, and provide you with a wealth of information to help you prepare for your puppy.

6-Week Family Visit Day: At 6 weeks old, we invite you to Family Visit Day to enjoy your own individual session with the puppies in our home (where our litters are raised). Here, you will spend time holding, playing with and getting to know the puppies. At that time, we ask you to give us your top three or four puppy choices. Puppies are offered in order of priority, based on the date and time your reservation form was received. This is also when your full Puppy Payment is due.

7-Week Puppy Update: At 7 weeks old, we send out the 7-Week Puppy Update along with instructions and the schedule for puppy selection and pick up. Also, a number of additional attachments regarding your puppy’s daily schedule, potty training cues, and other helpful information are provided.

8-Week Puppy Update: By 8 weeks old, all of our Australian Labradoodle puppies have been extensively worked with, given initial training, and are evaluated for structure and temperament based on the works of the late world-renown canine expert Pat Hastings. Blue Star Labradoodles will decide after evaluation if we decide to keep a puppy from the litter to keep as a future breeder. Once this has been decided, we will then call families in order of priority to make their puppy selection.

We use the information from these evaluations to make recommendations about which Blue Star Labradoodle puppy will best fit your family’s needs, lifestyle, and preferences. We also do this to make sure you have the tools and information you need to love and cherish your puppy for their lifetime.

When the time arrives for you to bring your new puppy home, they will have been exposed to a variety of new environments, people, and animals, received their first set of puppy shots, be crate trained and sleeping through the night, and understand basic commands like come, sit, down, and roll over. You will also receive a goodie bag filled with special toys, treats, a blanket, sleeping buddy, leash, collar, small food supply, and their Puppy Baby Book complete with parents’ pedigrees, family photos, baby pictures, and medical history.
