Purchasing Information

Sales Policy:  Blue Star Labradoodles stands behind our dogs and it’s very important to us that you be happy with your new puppy.  Below we have listed our procedures for purchasing our dogs.

All of the Blue Star puppies are multi-generation Labradoodles, which means that you will be getting a non-shedding, hypoallergenic dog (See Allergy Free Dogs).  Our Australian stud, Oregons Waldo at Primetime, is a direct descendant of Labradoodles imported from Australia where the breed was created (See History of the Labradoodle).  We DO NOT breed or sell first crosses (Please See Types of Labradoodles).

Purchasing:  The cost of a puppy is $2,500, plus all costs of shipping if required.  We will cover the cost to spayed or neuter your Puppy before he/she is delivered or shipped to you (unless specifically sold for breeding).  Each puppy will be wormed, current on shots, and be microchipped at our expense.  We will also provide a Medical History that includes shot and worming history and we'll provide the approriate  Registration Forms and a 3-5 generation pedigree for your new Puppy.

Shipping Procedures:  All costs incurred, if shipping is necessary, are at Buyers Expense.  The airlines require all puppies to be Vet checked with a Health Certificate immediately prior to airline shipment and a shipping crate with food dish and water will be needed.  Shipping expenses vary depending on where the puppy is being shipped.

Deposit & Balance of Payment :  In order to bring this bundle of joy into your life, a Reservation Form will need to be completed and mailed to us along with a $500 deposit of which $200 is non-refundable.  Or, you can fax your reservation form to 509-465-8650 and pay via Pay Pal or mail us a Cashier's Check or Money Oder for the $500 deposit.  (See "Contact Us" to print off the New Puppy Reservation Form).  At about 7 weeks of age Puppies are allocated in the order in which we receive the completed Reservation Form and Deposit.  This allows us to get to know the puppies and to match up the puppy's personality, size, coat, color, etc. with the requests of its new owner.

Payment in full is due two weeks before shipment, or at time of pick up, which is typically about 10 weeks after whelping.  If you would like to make periodic payments, rather than one large payment prior to shipment or pick up, that would be fine.  Just let us know what arrangements you’d like and we’d be happy to work with you.

Payment Options:  We are not able to accept Credit Cards at this time but will accept a Cashiers Check, Money Order, or Pay Pal for payment.   If you are going to use Pay Pal go to "Contact Us" and click on the Pay Pal link.

C ancellations/Refunds:  If you are not happy with the puppy that is allocated to you, if we do not have the preferred sex you want, or we did not have enough puppies in the litter to fulfill your reservation, you may roll your deposit over to the next available litter.  We typically take reservations for one less puppy than we think will be born in the litter.  However occasionally the litter may be smaller than expected.  In any of these circumstances, if you choose not to proceed or do not want to roll your deposit over to the next litter, only $200 of the initial $500 deposit is non refundable.  Any additional payments made will be fully refundable.

Contract:  Upon receipt of the Reservation Form and your $500 deposit to reserve your puppy, you will be e-mailed a Purchase and Sale Agreement to sign and return to us within two weeks to maintain your position on the Reservation list.  Click on "Contact Us" to view and print off a copy of the New Puppy Reservation Form.

Guarantees:  We guarantee our puppies for genetic illness and hip dysphasia for up to two years.  We do Penn Hip and OFA testing (for hip dysphasia) on all of our breeding dogs.  We do not use inferior stock.  We are passionate about the Labradoodle and are committed to raising Multi-generation Labradoodles according to the guidelines and standards of the Australian Laradoodle Club of America (ALCA) and the American Labradoodle Club of America.
